Operator setup required: The site operator must complete its business identity, contact address, legal basis, retention periods and applicable privacy review before launch.

Information we use

Account details support sign-in and communications. Opted-in split profiles show first name, budget, area and roommate preference to logged-in members. Messages are accessible to the participants and authorized administrators.

Landlord verification

Phone and email verification, encrypted NIN, legal name and private ownership documents support identity review. Authorized administrators can review them. Verification is not a warranty of ownership. Firebase processes phone authentication; Paystack processes payments. Google Maps may process location and device data when a map is loaded.

Listing visibility

Listing title, description, area, rent and the first photo are public. Approved active seekers can access exact address, contact number, remaining media and maps. Do not include personal details in public descriptions or photographs.

Your choices

Turn off Split Buddies visibility in your dashboard. Contact the operator to request access, correction, deletion, or account closure. Financial records may need to be retained to meet legal requirements. The operator must define and implement its retention schedule and backup deletion process.
